when i open a xex in ida a window pops up asking for the file format, processor type and a bunch of other stuff. i changed the processor to ppc and selected xbox360xexfile for the format. do i have to change any of the other settings or can i keep the defaults?
as well for benefits xbdm allowed you to realtime on any xex(yea, any game, not even limited to just reach which aso includes default unmodded xex's you can realtime on and take pictures of your console at any time.
working:-TUs check and download-covers donwload not working-push from unity to xbox my little improvement:-you can see all avaliable TUs for the game(it means, you can update games like GTA V). but, if TU`s mediaid differs from mediaid of installed game, TU`s displayed name would be something like "MID:0C48794E GTA V Title Update 26", where "MID:0C48794E" - TU`s mediaid. how to install:1. download my default.xex2. replace the original default.xex in fsd folder with mine3. restart fsd *UPDATE 17.10.2016*
thanks to dizazter, everything is up and running again on the new hosting. you need to download updated version of default.xexthere are two versions now:default.rar - shows TU for all MediaIDsdefault_filter.rar - shows TU only for your MediaID
from the beginning i was using FSD 775. but i found:1. It is not downloding custom game covers2. Covers are not downloaded in HD3. only front side of game cover is visible4. most importantly FSD Freezes (Hang\stop responding)it force me to switch to Aurora. at least from my experience i can say, Aurora never freezes. But i love FSD, if your version is fixed from above issue than surely i am going to use FSD again.Plz tell me
Thanks a lot for this Gualdimar. Been using it for a while now. I like the fact it doesn't filter all the non-matching Media ID TU's from view. It's especially handy for games that use disc 2 to boot (eg. Watch Dogs), where you have to grab one of the 'MID' labeled TU's. Weird thing is, about three weeks or so ago, cover downloading just seem to stop working for about a week, whereas the other modded version carried on working. Strange. I tried yours again today and it was working again, so I've gone back to your version. Cheers.
Try to create account on JQE360 but I can't open the website. After some search, I got that FSD is not support anymore, people migrate to aurora. So I download aurora. For game covers I use WebUI in FSD and Aurora Title Editor manually game by game and it's nice. After that I decide to buy external harddisc with xbox games in it, about 1 Tb with around 279 games in it, and think it will be a load of works if I update it one by one.
My internet on my mobile phone, I don't have router. So I using Laptop with windows 8.1, connect to mobile phone hotspot using laptop's wifi. Using Internet connection sharing to ethernet connect to Xbox. Both set manually IP address on laptop and xbox ethernets, since I don't have dhcp on my laptop. First try with aurora, it works, and I found some website says in FSD using unity account. So I give it a try on last friday. I works, FreeStyle start to download Covers, Background and Description along with screenshots. But after some time, FSD start crash, several restart didn't work, it keep crash. Open file manager and find out OnBoardMU is out of space since my freestyle located in OnBoardMU. Copy it using FTP to my laptop, and count the size about 1.5 Gb. GameDate is too much, so I decide to move it to internal HDD1. After that FSD3 stop crashing, but it no longer resume the download, Refresh workarts one by one still work though, but to much manual selection. Delete the scan paths and readd them do the trick, and it start download automatically. Finally done all the games covers update with total 293 games...
Free style version : it comes up with this version when I buy this XBOX, so I don't know if the default.xex already updated with the above link. My Dashlauch setting liveblock enabled, livestrong disabled.
so my brother gave me his xbox 360 star wars edition, a couple of weeks ago he had someone modify it for him so it can play games from the hard drive, it had XeXMenu 1.2 and Freestyle dashboard, he also had a lot of games on it and every thing was working fine except for one game (GTA V) which gave a bad CD error or something which I ignored until I decided to try and solve it so I went to the game folder in XeXmenu hit Y and chose xex patch just to see what would happen then the error changed to "game error the game couldn't start try downloading the game again" and every other game no gives the same error even the ones that were playable before.
Hey friend just remove xex menu and re-copy it from ur cd or external hd as u prefer i also mistakenly did hat once and only solution i found was to re-copy xex...just google about downloading xex menu it's free. And alwayd do as Swizzy says he's the champ trust me.
All right i'm home now I deleted the existing xex menu 1.2 from settings >storage > HDD >demo and then plugged in the flash drive and copied the freshly downloaded xex menu 1.2 but I still get the same error when trying to start a game " game error: the game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again"
ok will try as soon as I get home but the thing is I don't have the ISO or sources for these games as I'm not the one who put them on the console in the first place, So what I'm planning to do is to download any XBOX 360 ISO off the internet and look for a tutorial how to run them on the console from a flash drive, in fact I'm currently downloading "Payday 2 [MULTI][XBOX360][Region Free][XDG2][COMPLEX] " this should work right??should I remove the existing games?
